From estimate to completion our roofing project was perfect. Sam and assistant worked with us on our options as well as our changes. The crew arrived on time and covered decks and other areas of concern moving items out of possible danger. Keeping debris in control as they completed the job with speed and expertise. After all areas were thoroughly checked over they walked us through the project for our approval and a search for any stray nails was done. We were completely happy with every aspect of the project and highly recommend this company and it's experienced crew.
Sam was great through the entire process. He was easy to reach, bid proposal was fast, his suggestions were helpful, work was done on budget and in a timely manner for my situation. I’d have no hesitations recommending SAM to others that need a new roof or the other services his company provides!

As with any large project, a few unexpected issues came up, but the team addressed them quickly and with impressive skill. Sam was incredibly responsive, taking the time to listen to all of my concerns and accommodate every request without hesitation. One thing that really stood out was the cleanup. Sam Marohn, and his business Shingles and More are one of the best companies we have ever hired to complete our projects on our property after a catastrophic event tornado and straight-line winds. Our property and belongings were very banged up and almost destroyed after this catastrophic event devastated our property and belongings. There were about 7 contractors who wanted to help us and assist correcting our problems and return our property to its original high standards. Sam was selected because of his integrity, thoughtfulness, love of his work his people and his end product. He works very hard, efficient and effective to return your/our property to a better then before the tragic incident that brought us together. Our property is better than before and more prepared now for the future. We are very confident in his outstanding results, care and concern for our property. He and his company and his people exceeded our expectations far beyond what we thought were possible. Hiring Sam Marohn was one of the best decisions we ever made with our property and belongings it is the feeling we had when we originally purchased our property we were thrilled and if you are lucky enough to have Sam work with you you will be pleased with his work ethic and results. He is a teacher, a fireman (in the Northwoods of Minnesota), a father, an outdoorsman and a respect her and champion of other people ideas and thoughts. He is not prejudice and has extremely high standards without ever being preachy or lecturing. He is so easy to get along with. Again, this was one of the most wonderful experiences we have had following such a tragic and devastating catastrophic event.

Working with Sam has been a gift. He has always been incredibly helpful going over and beyond to answer questions. As a homeowner its nice to feel like you can trust people working on your home-Sam is an honest person. Sam always responded in a timely manner when we reached out. You can tell he is genuinely there for people, not gain. When we decided that we'd like to attempt roofing ourselves he encouraged us and helped us all the more. This is rare and we are so very thankful he's been with us on this journey!
Sam’s sincere assessment of our roof, shingles, and chimney, and feedback on different roofing products was valuable and appreciated. He addressed necessary repairs with honesty including documenting the entire project with photos. His frequent communication on the status of the project from start to finish was outstanding and exceeded our expectations. The cleanup of the site was immaculate. We live in Iowa and we have a cabin in Minnesota. We have never met Sam in person, although the quality of work Sam and his team did roofing our mobile home was great! As we could not be there when our shingles were installed, he sent pictures throughout the entire process, it was as if we were there! Thanks again Sam. Wonderful team and very good at their job. Completed what they said they would do in the time they said they would do it.
Sam provided more than just applying shingles. His documentation and work with our insurance company resulted in maximum settlement. He helped us choose the color we wanted by giving us the addresses of jobs he had done so we could get a better idea rather than just looking at a sample. On installation day Sam and his crew showed up as scheduled and prepared the area for work. Within eight hours the job was done and our yard was totally cleaned up. Terrific crew and job. I highly recommend S.A.M.
We’ve known Sam for years and knew he was honest, dependable and does outstanding work. When we asked him to look at our hail damaged roof, he confirmed the damage, worked with our insurance co. and most importantly walked us through the somewhat confusing insurance process. Sam and his crew were great. Sam had great communication from listening to what I wanted and giving me options that fit my likes and budget. Sam and his crew were very efficient and cleaned up everything. They even found things the previous builder did short cuts on, and corrected those. Customer service and communication was superlative. I would 100% recommend this first-rate company.

Sam did a new roof on my park model. He is very personable (which is why I decided to hire him). He gave me options, and also his recommendations, on what I could do. Never felt pressured. I was not able to be there the day he did the roof. He sent me pics every step of the way and kept me updated during the project. I really appreciated that! The finished roof turned out great! I would highly recommend using him.
Sam seemed very competent with 20+ years of roofing experience. He was prompt and timely in getting our roof replaced and was able to get the correct information to our insurance company, complete with photos. His crew worked HARD despite the heat that day. I give SAM the highest rating. I had two roofs replaced by Sam. He promptly answered all my questions and showed up when he said he would ( not always the case with other companies). From the first meeting where he gave me an estimate, explained what should be done and gave me advice on shingle colors to the finished product Sam was extremely courteous and helpful. He went above and beyond by trying to rid of an unknown bee's nest, to finding an exterminator, best deal on replacing gutters, and helping with obtaining a discount on insurance. You can tell that he has a real passion and motivation to provide the highest quality of service! I highly recommend Shingles and More!

Sam and his crew were great. His pricing is very competitive, the crew arrived on time, and did a great job of prepping around the house for gathering debris. They worked quickly, efficiently and got the job done on time. They did such a great job of cleaning up we couldn't even tell they were here! Overall very professional and great work!
Sam was very quick at getting out to look at my roof. Gave me a great price lower than all the competition .Walked through everything i needed. Gave me suggestions for a roof color. During the roofing progress sent pictures of every step they made so not being home i could still see the project get done. Once completed they cleaned up and the yard looked better than when they started.
Sam has been a pleasure to work with. Originally the hail damage claim for our roof was denied by insurance, but with visible damage Sam worked directly with insurance and the roofing inspector to advocate for us and get a full roof replacement. Professional, good communication, and easy to work with.

Sam’s team did an absolutely fabulous job of fixing our barn roof after a tree fell on the roof. The team worked high off the ground and matched the metal to perfection. I could not find a contractor willing to take on the job until I found Sam’s. His team was super nice and very courteous while in the job. I’d recommend these guys all day long. Great job! .
Sam and his crew were top notch. From our first meeting in the fall to work completion this spring everything was beyond our expectations. Prior to meeting Sam, we had met with other contractors and were a bit skeptical of getting our roof claim fixed. But, Sam changed our experience! Sam did an excellent job from beginning to end. His crew was very efficient and professional. They removed old shingles, put in a new skylight, made necessary repairs on 3 structures and installed new shingles all in one day.
